2017 fishing predictions were unpredictable do to Lake Michigans salmon/trout stocking reductions that were designed to improve the lakes forage base.

Our Spring started off slowly(April) with Trout (Browns, Bows & Lakers) but picked up in May with many limits of Coho salmon.

Or Summer fishing  was consistent with salmon and trout. Surprisingly, several large chinook salmon we’re harvesting with some hitting the 30 pound range.

We are all encouraged that DNR management techniques seem to have stabilized the lakes decline.

We look forward to another great fishing experience in 2018.

Our charter fishing service has officially ended. We look forward to fishing with all our good friends in 2018.
